Beloningen voor
'falen' 11 september

Het Witte Huis saboteert niet alleen de onderzoekers van 11 september (zoals
blijkt uit de meest recente vorige delen van deze DaanSpeak-serie), het
is bezig beloningen uit te delen aan hen die deze dag mogelijk maakten.
'If the individuals who staff our intelligence agencies are unable to prevent
large-scale terrorist attacks then they should be fired. And yet since September
11 nobody in a position of authority has been sacked and in fact the majority
have received raises in addition to the millions of extra funding that has
poured in to the FBI and CIA. They have been rewarded for their complicity
in 9/11', schrijft
Paul Joseph Watson.
Vervolgens geeft Watson concrete voorbeelden in zijn artikel met de titel
Endless Fake Terror Alerts: Fear Based Mind Control. In een DaanSpeak-artikel
over mogelijke voorkennis bij 11 september staan voorbeelden beschreven
(die hieronder ook worden aangehaald) van Amerikanen die 911 mogelijk hebben
gemaakt door geblunder of door moedwillige bijdragen, afhankelijk van hoe
je deze feiten beziet. Maar wat nu blijkt, is dat
diezelfde mensen worden beloond voor hun daden op 11 september, waardoor
die dus nog meer gaan lijken op moedwillige bijdragen, in plaats van een
eindeloze rij stupiditeiten.

'In December 2002 Senator Charles Grassly, a Republican, described as a
“slap in the face” and “shocking”
a decision by FBI director Robert Mueller to give an award for ‘exceptional
performance to Marion "Spike" Bowman, head of the FBI's national
security law unit. The award is officially titled ‘Presidential Rank
of Meritorious Service’ and includes cash bonuses of between 20 percent
or 35 percent of each recipient's base salary. Bowman was instrumental in
calling FBI agents off the trail of Zacarias Moussaoui, the so-called ‘20th
hijacker’ whose arrest many analysts conclude would have cracked the
September 11 plot before it was carried out. Grassly stated, "Unfortunately,
this award continues a bad tradition. If the FBI is ever to reform, there
must be accountability."
The head of the State Department’s consular service Mary Ryan was
awarded $15,000 in October 2002 as part of an ‘outstanding performance
bonus’. Her office issued visas to 13 of the 19 suicide hijackers,
giving them entry to the country. In addition, Thomas Furey, who was consul-general
in the U.S. Embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, was also awarded a bonus.
The Saudi embassy was named by former Consulate officer Michael Springman
as a conduit for Al-Qaeda members hired for CIA terrorist training in the
80's.'
Losse flodders
In dit verband is het ook eigenaardig te vernemen in de documentaire
Missile Wars (zoals uitgezonden bij Canvas op 6 april) dat Donald
Rumsfeld in 1991 probeerde
te verhinderen
dat $600 miljoen naar terrorismebestrijding zou gaan. Het geld zou worden
afgesnoept van een mega-budget voor een rakettenschild.
W. Bush heeft er ook een handje van zuinig te zijn: 'President Wants
Costly New Disabled Military Pension Benefits Eliminated'. TruthOut schrijft:
'Perhaps the soldiers being deployed to fight in Iraq should reconsider.
We have a President that doesn't believe they should be compensated for
disabilities. Every other government employee upon retirement can recieve
their retirement pay and disibility if they qualify. Only the military
has to choose one or the other. George w. Bush can find billions for new
weapons programs but cant find money to compensate disabled veterans. Yet
another case of misguided priorities.'
Gelukkig pakt oorlog niet voor iedereen slecht uit: 'Halliburton cash
registers ring in Iraq [...] Halliburton Energy Services, the giant government
contractor formerly headed by Vice President Dick Cheney, is overseeing
no-bid Army projects worth nearly a half-billion dollars that involve almost
every aspect of U.S. operations in Iraq, NBC News has learned', schrijft
MSNBC.
Tot slot nog een wat vage opmerking van Counterpunch. Die schrijft:
'According to journalists close to the Vatican, the Pope and his closest
advisers are also concerned that the ultimate acts of evil - the September
11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon - were known
in advance by senior Bush administration officials. By permitting the attacks
to take their course, there is a perception within the Roman Catholic Church
hierarchy that a coup d'etat was implemented, one that gave Bush and his
leadership near-dictatorial powers to carry out their agenda.'
